Wat Saket, or the Temple of the Gold Mount has a very exquisite detailed architecture. Also known as Phu Khao Thong, or Golden Mount, its mounting crown of gold makes it so popular among locals and foreign alike. Wat Saket is best visited during the night wherein its crown is prominent among its features. This temple is built by King Rama I to guard the relics of Buddha. th century buy King Ramma III.
The Golden Mount is adorned with many bright-colored lanterns and the temple ground turns into a fun-filled gathering. Climb into the cupola and see a very beautiful, heartwarming view of Bangkok.
